About us
Central Tiling is a family business. We have been tiling in and around Beeston for over twenty years, and these days we do full bathroom installations as well, because customers kept asking whether we could do the rest of the room while we were there.
The work is mostly bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchen splashbacks and floors, in ordinary houses across Beeston, Chilwell, Bramcote, Stapleford and Long Eaton. A lot of it is repeat work and neighbours of previous jobs.
There is no showroom and no sales visit. You get the person who will be doing the tiling coming to look at the room.

Common questions
Do you supply the tiles, or do I?
Either. Most people buy their own, because choosing tiles is the enjoyable part and you will be looking at them for years. Tell us what you are considering before you order and we will tell you what it means for the job, because some tiles are twice the work of others.
How long does a bathroom take?
A straightforward refit in an average-sized bathroom is usually somewhere around one to two weeks, and a wet room longer because the tanking has to go off before tiling starts. We give you the dates for your job when we quote it.
Can I use the bathroom while you are working?
Not the one being fitted. If it is your only bathroom that is worth planning around, and we will tell you which days are the bad ones when we book the dates.
My floor is not level. Is that a problem?
It is a problem for large tiles in particular, and it is very common in older Beeston houses. It gets levelled first. That is a real cost and it goes on the quote as its own line so you can see it.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. A splashback, a single wall, a cracked tile replaced. Small jobs are proper jobs.
Do you work outside Beeston?
Yes, across NG9, NG8 and NG10 and the towns listed on the contact page. Further out is worth asking about rather than assuming.
